As a natural lightening agent, lemon juice is an effective bleach to help brighten and reduce pigmentation while also reducing any redness. This can be used on its own, directly take a little lemon juice on a cotton and dab it onto the scar. Apply this twice a day unless you have sensitive skin. It will irritate skin that is broken or torn so apply gently.

Lemon and Honey Mask- 
If your skin is sensitive to using only lemon, using a lemon juice and honey mask combined with exfoliation can work effectively. Apply equal part mixture on the skin and leave it on for about 15-20 minutes a day. Do this daily for one week for dramatic results.
