Remedies for Dry Skin


If you have dry skin and you'd like to carry out something about this condition, here are few good tips for you: 
  • Bathe in lukewarm water and not in hot water. This will help the skin retain moisture.
  • Use a mild soap.
  • Use scrubs to remove the dry and dead skin.
  • Apply plain milk on your face and let it dry, let it dry and then rinse off with lukewarm water.
  • Eat vegetables or fruits which have good quantity of water like tomatoes, cucumber, watermelon, etc and take a good quantity of nuts egg yolk.
  • Moisturizing skin with a moisturizing lotion will help enormously.
  • Drink atleast eight glasses of water a day. This makes a lot of difference.
  • Add two cups of Epsom Salt to the lukewarm water in your bathtub; soak for at least 8 to 10 minutes, three times weekly.
  • Mash half banana mix 2 tablespoon of honey make it a paste, apply it on your face and neck, let it dry and then rinse off with lukewarm water. This acts as a moisturizer.
  • Mix half a teaspoon of honey, one tablespoon of egg yolk, one tablespoon of dried milk power and make it a paste. apply on dry skin, let it dry and then rinse off with cold water.
  • Avoid smoking, it not only ruins your health but also your skin, avoid caffeine and alcohol.
  • Apply Aloe Vera gel and use products that contain Aloe Vera.
  • Mix together one tablespoon of safflower oil, one tablespoon of avocado oil and two tablespoon of sesame oil. Apply this to your skin and massage and bath in lukewarm water.
  • Mix together one tablespoon of warm Olive oil with a few drops of glycerin. Apply this to your skin and massage and bath in lukewarm water.
  • Apply papaya puree to your face and then rinse off with lukewarm water. This helps to remove dead cells.
  • Sleep at least for 8 hours, because a goodnight sleep makes your skin fresh and bright.
