Important Tips for Bridal

It's not just essential to look absolutely perfect on your wedding night. It's also important that the perfection stays through, and never lets you down. And thinking fast, these are the things that you should take care of

Colors:
Do go in for a prior consultation with your beautician at least a week before the wedding. Take along your wedding outfit and samples of the jewelry you would be wearing.
Another good idea is to take along reference of looks from magazines and ads of the kind you like, so that the beautician is not working blind towards creating your look.
The basic point to remember is to coordinate colors. If your outfit is a blazing pink, you cannot dare to wear red lipstick and nail polish. Do get a beautician and hairstylist on whom you have confidence. No point in settling for a budget beautician when the look of an entire lifetime is at stake.

Lips:
Your lips are an important part of the look, as important as the eyes. Line your lips with a lip-liner – a shade darker than the lipstick you've chosen and then fill in the lipstick with a brush. Blot it gently with a tissue and powder with pressed powder and repeat the liner and lipstick routine. This will help your lipsticks last longer.

Teeth:
It's amazing what a transformation a good dental job can achieve for your face. It would be wise to get an appointment with your dentist a few months before the wedding. Don't wait for the last minute. You don't want to appear for your wedding with a swollen face and cotton between your pearly whites, do you ?
These, as they say are the pennies. Take care, and the pounds – creating the right impressions that is – will take care of themselves.

Mehndi:
Decorating the palms and feet of the bride with exotic designs mehendi is a ritual in Pakistani weddings. The designs draw their inspiration from various schools of folk and tribal art.
In one sense, it's also a more urban form of the art of tattoo. Only that the herbs used in mehendi not only adds to the beauty of the skin, but also nourishes it as it permeatel the pores of the skin.
Now, professionals mostly do it at home as well in the parlour. Ladies who take up contracts for service at home charge between Rs. 500 to Rs. 2500 depending on the number of people they are attending.
For more intricate designs, for both the hands and the feet, the charges can go up to as high as Rs. 1000. And even for that, one might have to go all the way up to the parlour.

Essentials:
These are the ten things that should be with you when you take the center stage on your wedding day:
  • Your confidence - without which every thing goes down the drain.
  • Your hair brush - to keep the strands under control.
  • Your perfume - for the lingering freshness that drives away the bad odor.
  • Your lipstick - to keep your lips luscious till the end of the day.
  • A compact - to repair the damage done by mishandling by relatives.
  • Some hairpins - to prick yourself with and draw you out from your dreams.
  • Safety pins - for a quick-fix, in garments or the relationships.
  • Face Tissues or wipes - to blot those tears which you might shed.
  • Breath freshener - to bring your husband closer to you.
  • Money - without it marriage is a big risk.
