Be careful your skin in the summer

On hot sunny days, there are three common disease-causing agents in the skin: light, humidity, poor personal hygiene, common diseases in this condition most easily identifiable and easy to prevent.

Tanning

Since ultraviolet sunlight strikes the Earth, the impact on the horn layer, epidermis, skin and fat under the skin, causing redness of the skin, sunburn, tanning and skin cancer. Excessive exposure to sun burns, long time will damage the skin. Tanning the skin appear after sun exposure makes the skin become brown but will end when no sun exposure.

All About Lip Care

Lip Care
Normally make-up to the lips is given huge importance than lip care. This is not the correct attitude because lips need a little care as their protecting layer (the skin of lips is too thin) is extremely thin and like other parts they do not contain sweat glands and not many oil glands thus they are prone to dryness. Cracked dry lips are painful, can develop infections and are not good to look at.
Why lips turn dry?
1. Inadequate water intake to keep your skin hydrated.
2. Smoking.
3. Continuous exposure to sun, dust partials can also cause dryness.
4. Licking your lips often can cause dry lips.
5. Deficiency of vitamins A, B and C.
6. Intake of excess of Alcohol and caffeine removes moisture and causes dryness.
7. Some times cosmetics also contribute to dry lips.
Tips for Beautiful Lips
1. Drink atleast 8 glass of water everyday, this makes a lot of difference to your lips.

Remedies for Oily Skin

skincare tipsIf you have oily skin and you'd like to carry out something about this condition, here are few good tips for you:

  1. To take care for oily skin you should beginwith a gentle, foaming facial wash. This will remove dirt and oil without taking away moisture.
  2. You have to cleanse only two or three times at the very most with a product suited to your skin type. Washing more often will simply strip the skin of oil which cleanly stimulates the oil glands to replace it.
  3. Rinse carefully and then finish off with a toner/astringent on the oily areas of your skin. The astringent can be used all over the day to help control the excess oil.
  4. Make a puree of fresh tomatoes and apply to the skin.
  5. Add one teaspoon of lemon juice with half teaspoon of honey with egg white and add fuller's earth or brewer's yeast powder. Mix into a paste and apply. Remove it after 20 minutes with normal water. paste and apply. Remove after 20 minutes with normal water.

Makeup For Older Women

Hair
Try to change your hairstyle , mostly try hair style which suits your profession and which makes your face young

Eyebrows
At this age, your eyebrows will get thin and the color of your eyebrows will fade, make it beautiful with a powder, pencil or gel that is similar to your natural hair color.

Face
Do not go with very heavy foundations; try liquid foundations mixed with moisturizer to nourish your dry face. Also try to use a shade of reflecting foundation. Even use the lighter shade of powder which is moisturizing, and goes on smoothly. In case you use blush, make sure that you use cream blush instead of a powder for a more bedewed appearance. Use a non-frosted powder below your chin to hide the saggy neck.

Eyes
Avoid wild colors, go for mild ranges. Prefer the blends of pink and gray eye shadows that soften graying hair

Lips
Your lips must have started getting a little dry by now. So the challenge before you is giving your lip, a fresh and young look.  Choose graceful shades of lipsticks. More than colors pay attention to the moisture and fullness of your lips. Pink, Berry, Coral or Peach shades are good options.

Foundation for Summer

Changing your makeup style with the seasons is a natural as changing your wardrobe. In the hotter summer months, your goal is create a fresh, natural look and foundation can help you achieve it. Those that are lucky enough to have flawless skin may be able to go without it in the winter, but the rest of us still prefer to use foundation to help smooth out skin tone. Just because it's hot, doesn't mean your looks have to suffer. Here are a few tips on using foundation in the summer.
An important thing to remember when it comes to foundation is that your skin tone is likely darker in the summer than it is in the winter, so you may need to purchase a foundation that better suits your summer skin. It's always best if you can buy foundation in a place with plenty of light, and natural light if possible, so you'll get a better idea of how you'll look when you leave the house. Do try to test a small amount of foundation before you buy, because the color could react with your skin and end up a slightly different color than how it looks in the bottle. Don't forget to make sure the color will blend well with your neckline.
The type of foundation you use may be dependant on how hot it gets where you live. If you live in the hottest of temperatures in summer, try to find a foundation that advertises staying-power, which will help the foundation stay in place even on the hottest of days. Choose a liquid foundation over a cream, which will help your skin breathe and stay healthy. Always apply moisturizer before foundation, as this will help ensure that the foundation goes on smoothly and creates a uniform color. If you already have a foundation you love but want to adapt it for summer, try combining a small amount with an equally small amount of moisturizer, which will thin it out and provide you with a lighter coat.

Eyebrow Shaping

Eyebrow shaping has always been a popular topic of conversation among desi women. As many beauticians will tell you, eyebrows are meant to frame the face and should not be so thick as to take the focus away from the rest of the face, nor too thin (which might look unnatural). Although the perfect eyebrow shape can vary from person to person, here are some general rules I've learned that can apply to everyone:

Pulling off Red Lipstick

Red lipstick has always been a popular makeup trend amongst desi women, despite the trouble of being able to pull it off. Here are some tips to pull off the perfect red lips.

Center Part Hairstyles

Sick of side-swept bangs? Here are some helpful hints on how to convert your generic, overdone side-swept bangs to a new hairstyle trend: the center part.

A center part can make your hair look flat or unkempt if not styled properly. To prevent your hair from looking like it was back when you were in middle school, give some of these looks a try:

Headband
A cute way to change up your look is by adding a headband over your center part. It's easy and manageable, and looks especially chic with sleek, straight hair. The headband prevents the top of your head from looking flat.

Blow Dried
Grab a large, round boar bristle hairbrush and aim the dryer down through sections of your hair as you pull on them with the brush from underneath. Turn the brush and concentrate the heat on your ends for a slight curl or wave. Finish off by pulling your dampened bangs over your head and back as you dry them.

Beehive Updo
This hairstyle is a great way to show off your bangs with a center part. The part keeps your head from looking too steep and the side bangs frame your face. Best part: It looks good from every angle!

Twists
This style, made popular by Lauren Conrad, is simple and girly. Simply part your bangs down the center and grab your bangs plus a small section of hair from the front of your head, and twist it back around the sides of your head. Secure with bobby pins. (Note: looks best with wavy hair)

Off-Center
If you've had side bangs for a while and are having trouble getting your bangs to suddenly part in the center, try parting them slightly off-center and eventually train your hair. Also, remember that your center part does not need to be a pin-straight line, front and center on your head.

Desi Bridal
A center part is a good idea for a bridal hairstyle because it works nicely with the teeka. It gives a vintage look, while also securing the piece so you don't have to worry about it staying centered throughout the event. (I'm sure you would have plenty of other things to be worried about.)

Loose Curls
Loose curls or waves add texture to your hair to keep it from looking lifeless (a center part can often result in this). Be sure not to make the curls too tight or too high on your head.

Braided Updo
This updo is both classy and trendy. It's perfect for a wedding, espcially when you have kaam on the back or neck of your shirt that would otherwise be covered (or when you don't want those earrings you spent a fortune on to go hidden).

A Combination Skin

Those who have a combination skin type may have more problems as compared to other types of skin. In combination skin it's difficult to decide that what is more problematic, whether the oil in your skin or the dryness.  So, to control both the problems at one time is like a challenge. Combination skin is made up of two types. The 'T' area, which includes forehead, nose, partly cheeks closer to the nose and chin are oily areas whereas other are either dry or normal. Your very first step should be deciding that what actually causes more skin problems to you, oil or dryness.  If your skin is shining in the T-zone but looks tight and scaly around your eyes and cheeks, it means that you have to tackle dryness problem. On the other hand, if your cheek and eye areas feel slightly tight but your T-zone is covered with oil and blemishes your combination situation is oily.
