Hand and Foot Wash

Hand and Foot Wash

1/2 cup dried Lavender Flowers
1/2 cup finely chopped Fresh Sage
2 cups of water
8 drops of Lavender Oil

In a saucepan, combine lavender flowers, sage and water. Simmer, covered, on low heat for 20 minutes. Strain mixture through cheesecloth and let cool. Discard the solids, retain the liquid. Add Lavender Oil, shake to emulsify, and then apply to hands and feet with a soft wash cloth or cotton pads. Repeat as necessary, or desired.  So refreshing in summer when your feet are hot, and in winter, when they've been cooped up in boots.

Home Spa Pedicure Step 1: Remove old polish
The first step in a home pedicure is to remove any old polish from your toes. Use nail polish remover to remove any remnants of old polish. If your old polish has stained your toe nails or your nails have a yellowish tint, soak a cotton ball with hydrogen peroxide and apply to the nail. Leave on for a few minutes and then wipe off.

Your feet are precious; they carry you many a mile and help you to maintain your posture. They also suffer the consequences of narrow or high heel shoes for the sake of beauty and can become sore and tired from standing all day or walking or running long distances. Give your feet the attention they really deserve by pampering them––a foot spa is one great way of doing this, reviving your feet and allowing you to concentrate specifically on relaxing them and ensuring they're in great condition. Here is what to do.
