Center Part Hairstyles

Sick of side-swept bangs? Here are some helpful hints on how to convert your generic, overdone side-swept bangs to a new hairstyle trend: the center part.

A center part can make your hair look flat or unkempt if not styled properly. To prevent your hair from looking like it was back when you were in middle school, give some of these looks a try:

Headband
A cute way to change up your look is by adding a headband over your center part. It's easy and manageable, and looks especially chic with sleek, straight hair. The headband prevents the top of your head from looking flat.

Blow Dried
Grab a large, round boar bristle hairbrush and aim the dryer down through sections of your hair as you pull on them with the brush from underneath. Turn the brush and concentrate the heat on your ends for a slight curl or wave. Finish off by pulling your dampened bangs over your head and back as you dry them.

Beehive Updo
This hairstyle is a great way to show off your bangs with a center part. The part keeps your head from looking too steep and the side bangs frame your face. Best part: It looks good from every angle!

Twists
This style, made popular by Lauren Conrad, is simple and girly. Simply part your bangs down the center and grab your bangs plus a small section of hair from the front of your head, and twist it back around the sides of your head. Secure with bobby pins. (Note: looks best with wavy hair)

Off-Center
If you've had side bangs for a while and are having trouble getting your bangs to suddenly part in the center, try parting them slightly off-center and eventually train your hair. Also, remember that your center part does not need to be a pin-straight line, front and center on your head.

Desi Bridal
A center part is a good idea for a bridal hairstyle because it works nicely with the teeka. It gives a vintage look, while also securing the piece so you don't have to worry about it staying centered throughout the event. (I'm sure you would have plenty of other things to be worried about.)

Loose Curls
Loose curls or waves add texture to your hair to keep it from looking lifeless (a center part can often result in this). Be sure not to make the curls too tight or too high on your head.

Braided Updo
This updo is both classy and trendy. It's perfect for a wedding, espcially when you have kaam on the back or neck of your shirt that would otherwise be covered (or when you don't want those earrings you spent a fortune on to go hidden).

A Combination Skin

Those who have a combination skin type may have more problems as compared to other types of skin. In combination skin it's difficult to decide that what is more problematic, whether the oil in your skin or the dryness.  So, to control both the problems at one time is like a challenge. Combination skin is made up of two types. The 'T' area, which includes forehead, nose, partly cheeks closer to the nose and chin are oily areas whereas other are either dry or normal. Your very first step should be deciding that what actually causes more skin problems to you, oil or dryness.  If your skin is shining in the T-zone but looks tight and scaly around your eyes and cheeks, it means that you have to tackle dryness problem. On the other hand, if your cheek and eye areas feel slightly tight but your T-zone is covered with oil and blemishes your combination situation is oily.
Being the tricky and complicated skin type, it needs your extra effort to look after it. Individuals with the combination skin type always encounter two conflicts at one time. First to reduce oil from the oily areas while the other to replace moisture and kill the dryness. In short it requires a skin care for two absolutely different skins.
Here are some of the remedies for those who got combination skin type:
Try to develop the habit of cleansing on daily basis, probably with some good quality milky moisture or moisturizing lotion. Then cleans your face with a cotton wool soaked into the rose water. Clean the whole face through this procedure and take the dirt off and make the skin clean and fresh. Immediately after it, if you will again clean your face with the cotton wool and few drops of lemon or fruit vinegar on it. You can easily clean the T area to take off all the extra oils.
Other then this you can apply some homemade marks. Like
Put cucumber (peeled) into a blender and make a fine paste, add egg-white to the half of the paste for the oily area and one teaspoon yoghurt with a few drops of apricot oil to the rest of the half portion of paste, for the other part of the face.
Apply these masks once or twice in a week for 15/20 minutes. Never forget to moisturize after washing and it's important that you use moisturizers that are minimum greasy.
Whatever the skin type you have, always remember to take care of it using the right kind of products.
