How to achieve perfect skin

Perfect skin is usually only seen on actresses and singers, mainly on pictures so heavily airbrushed that they almost become unrecognisable. But something that all these celebrities make sure they have is a greatskin care routine. Layering on make-up for a shoot means that their pores can become blocked and their skin suffers but with a simple cleanse, tone and moisturise and some added extras the skin can be brought back to its former glory.
Follow these simple steps and you will have great looking skin in no time….
The first step is steam your face. This is really simple, just boil the kettle to get some hot water, pour the water into a bowl, then put a towel over your head and hold the bowl (make sure it's not too hot to hold!) near your face for about 5-10 minutes.
Now wash your face with warm (not hot) water and a cleanser for your skin type. For example, if you have acne, you would want an oil free or lightly medicated cleanser. Nothing too harsh or drying, because you'll more than likely be washing your face twice daily.
The next step is to rinse your face THOROUGHLY. Make sure the soap is GONE. Do a final rinse with cool (not cold) water to close pores.

Toner removes all traces of dirt, make up and cleanser from the skin that remain after cleansing. Immediately after cleansing apply toner to the forehead and cheeks on a pad of corron wool. Apply the toner to the crevices around the nose. Apply the toner to the crevices around the chin.

Moisturising helps in restoring the natural moisture to your face and making it more soft, supple and glowing.
After you are done with your cleansing and toning, you must moisturize your face in order to regain the moisture lost.
Clean your hands before you apply moisturizer to your face.
Deeply apply the moisturizer on your face in a circular with upward strokes motion.
Do not over use moisturizer as it will clog your pores and give way to black heads and pimples.
The next steps are optional because each skin type will react differently so beware of how much you do with your skin because if it is sensitive it may cause an outbreak or become dryer. Sometimes less is more….
  • Exfoliate twice a week whilst in the bath or shower, the steam with open the poors and make it easier.
  • This is the same for facemasks. Apply once a week after steaming the face and choose the right mask for your skin type. This will help clear out any dirt or spot building grime that may be hiding in the skin.
  • Choose both a night and day cream. Your day cream should be light and refreshing so it does not make your make up slide off. Your night cream so be thicker as the skin replairs itself over night and this is the perfect time to replenish it.
  • Lastly if you are over the age of 30 now is the time to be thinking about investing in a good eye cream to combat wrinkles. This cream can be applied to the outer edges of the bottom lid, where wrinkles form when laughing.

How to Acheive Smokey Eye Makeup

Difficulty: Easy
Time Required: 5 minutes
Here's How:
Prep the lid. The key to keeping eyeshadow from melting into your eyelid crease as the day goes on is to kept eyelids oil-free. To do this start with an eyeshadow base (also called "primer"). I prefer to dab at bit of MAC's 'paint' on lids before shadow application. Or try Fresh Freshface Perfecting Eye Primer.
Apply eyeliner. If you're going for a typical black, brown or gray smoky eye, apply liner in one of those colors above the upper lash line, drawing line thicker in the middle of eye. If your opting for a jewel-toned eye (violet makes a gorgeous smokey eye), line eyes with a purple, blue or deep green liner.
Blend in color on bottom lashes For colour on the bottom (a key smokey eye look) you'll want a lighter eyeliner. The key is to "smudge it." You can also apply a bit of shadow to get full smudge effect.
Apply light base color Again, the key to a smokey eye is pairing a lighter base with the darker hue. I prefer a nice cream shade for my base. Sweep a light, shimmery shadow over the lids to your browbone. I love Stila's whipped eye shadows $20. The moist "mousse" consistency seems to stay on forever. My favorite colors are taupe and pearl.
Blend in darker color, but keep dark color below the crease. Now that you have the base and eyeliner on, it's time to get the smoky effect. You need a darker eyeshadow shade. Using an eyeshadow brush blend in color starting at your lash line, blending up. Make sure to blend color into the lash line so the eye liner disappears. Stop deep color at crease.
Doublecheck your work Make sure eyes match and blend color with a Q-tip if need be.
Finish with several coats of volumizing mascara. Tried and true mascaras (featured in "Elle" magazine) include DiorShow Mascara & L'Oreal Paris Volume Shocking Mascara. Elle's writer says they are the best volumizers she's tried.
Tips:
Remember to keep lips nude. When applying strong makeup (like smokey eyes or red lips) put the focus on either eyes or lips, never both. (Think Angelina Jolie: She either plays up her huge eyes or her huge lips, never both. If she did, she'd look like a clown). For a bit of fun, try a blue or purple mascara. It will make blue eyes "pop."
Liner doesn't have to come in pencil form. Makeup experts know eyeshadows make some of the best eyeliners. To do this take an eyeliner brush (available at Sephora, MAC or any dept store), wet it, then dab wet brush into the dark shadow. This allows for a deep, precise line. You can also use the dark shadows without wetting brush first. Either way, eyeliner is necessary for smoky eye.
This season go jewel-toned (blue is great for you blue-eyed girls) and keep your eyes smoky but stay away from dark browns and black. Instead, go for a deep purple, a gold-brown or any of the many vibrant colors in this year
What You Need:
Eye primer (you don't need it, but it's great for keeping shadow in place)
2 Shadows: One light, one darker
Eyeliner
Makeup brushes
Mascara

Winter Makeup

Skin care routine and cosmetics for winters need to undergo a heavy makeover for the chilly cold season. You need to look more glamorous and more polished during the season. Matte understated shades such as coffee, chocolate and smoky shades for eyes and berry tones for lips and cheeks replace the fresh summer face. Gloss is in again and so are our beloved fruity and spicy tones of cosmetics. Velvety shades are the way to go for a winter woman. Here are some tips you can use this Christmas season:
  • A bit of sheen on eyes can be used too for a change, if you are using nude shades; while on lips, it can help your lips to look more voluptuous.
  • Either your moisturizer or your foundation should have broad-spectrum sun protection factor to block UV sunrays that do not leave our skin alone even for winters. Matt finish foundation is better for winders.
  • For fragrance, stick to essence of essential oils, spices and other natural aromas.
  • If you want to sport long eyelashes, you may try fake individual eyelashes that can be applied using tweezers.
  • Sheer layer of creamy blushers can boost up your subtle makeup.
  • Smokey eyes look best in winters and you can use eye shadows in cinnamon and coffee shades for sultry effect.
  • Though, normally black mascaras make a comeback every winter season, this time it is the shades of Aubergine that are a great hit for the purple tint that matches your colored locks. A dark brown shade of waterproof mascara is a multipurpose product too.
  • Tinted lip balms in honey, blackberry and red currant tones look great too in winters.
  • Tinted powder with a slight shimmer is great for winters.
  • Use ample amount of skin-priming moisturizers, especially meant for winters, on your face that may have properties to exfoliate gently and lower concentration of alpha hydroxy acids. Night cream should be heavy for winters.

Tips to Bleach

squeeze lemon n cucumber n refrigerate it n use it daily home made remedies take lot of time n u hav to be patient.

If the hair is too fine, then you can consider bleaching. You can apply bleach (go for a patch test before you try on your face), once in 15 days.

There is a recipe that can partially help in removing the facial hair when done frequently. Mix besan with few drops of fresh milk. Add a pinch of turmeric to this mix. Now apply this mix all over your face. When its semi-dry, rub the mix on your face in the opposite direction to your hair growth. This helps in removing facial hair though not fine hair.

however you may try a body scrub made at home if you desire natural and home-made remedy:

3 tbsps besan(gram flour),1tbsp orange peel powder,1tsp turmeric and 3tbsps milk cream.mix all the ingredients well and apply to body.leave it on until semi-dry and then scrub in the opposite direction of hair

Mix lemon turmeric n oatmeal(jao ka atta) to make a thick paste n apply on ur face do atleast wo weeks u will get the results

The home bleach:
combine two tablespoons of milk powder, mix in a enough liquid hydrogen peroxide to form a thick paste amke sure its not drippy. If your hair is very dark and coarse mix in a couple drops (like two) of liquid ammonia. This is considered to be the least harmful kind of bleach since the powder milk in the mixture moisturizes the skin while bleaching preventing skin burns and other reactions that comes from commercial bleaches.

Threading and waxing of the facial hair is done best at a beauty parlor. It is advised to get it done at a beauty parlor for the first time.

Eye Care Tips

Eye care is usually neglected by most people as they don't realize it importance. People rely on their senses to manage through life and eye sight is a very important factor which helps in everything you do.

Eyesight as well as eye care are very important health wise as well as aesthetically. Women have always been preoccupied with wrinkles around the eyes since it is one of the first places wrinkles and fine lines appear. The skin around the eyes is very thin, soft and sensitive thus it is more prone to damage.

Eye care should be one of your top priorities when it comes to beauty and health care as the eyes are one of your most precious gifts. By caring for the eyes one can minimize and prolong the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines as well as maintain a proper eye vision.

To help you look and feel great follow these eye care tips as much as possible:

protect your eyes with special eyeglasses if you work with a computer for several hours. Some computer screens don't have a protective cover for the eyes and this might cause eye damage, as your eyes get tired

wear good quality sunglasses whenever you are exposed to sunlight as the bright light from the sun might cause you to make grimaces and thus you will develop wrinkles and fine lines much quicker. In addition the sun can easily burn and damage the skin around your eyes if you don't wear SPF protection

wash your eyes with cold water whenever you feel that your eyes are getting tired. Staring at something or being concentrated to read can tire the eyes much quicker and the cold water will help reinvigorate the eyes

eye creams should definitely be a part of your eye care routine especially after the age of 25 to prevent wrinkle development. These creams contain certain ingredients which have been discovered as beneficial in eye care

try to pamper your eyes using natural ingredients. Place a slice of cucumber, potatoes or other skin beneficial fruits or vegetables on your eyes so the skin can improve it's appearance

eat foods that contain high amounts of vitamins beneficial for eyesight and not only like carrots, broccoli, spinach, fish, soy and blueberries

try to get enough sleep daily, about 8 hours a day as this is the only time the eyes can rest and take a break to recover from the stress they are subjected to daily

do not rub your eyes with your hands if you haven't washed them properly so you don't get bacteria in your eyes and cause infections

visit an eye doctor if you experience blurry vision and headaches often

Care for your eyes so they can stay healthy and gorgeous looking and you will surely not regret it. There are several treatments available to minimize the effects of eye damage so try these options if the eye damage has already been done.

  14. Eat a healthy, balanced meal and avoid fast food.

Acne and Pimples

The beauty of you lies in your skin so gals if you have problems and skin diseases then better shut yourself up in the room because no amount of make up or expertise can hide diseased skin. So better jet set go and find out some solutions to the skin problems particularly acne and pimples. Most of us have suffered from this at the onset of puberty or later in life.

At the onset of puberty these pimples occur due hormonal changes but later when it appears then be sure it has been caused due to irregularity of skin care and proper skin treatment. Most of us love to apply make ups but how many of us take proper aftercare or even care to remove the make ups properly after the party is over. Often this residue along with dust and other impurities block the pores and as a result the skin cannot breathe nor can it excrete the excess oil produced in the skin.

So it starts to store them in a lump like formation just below the surface of the skin which we call pimples. They can be quite painful at times and even sometimes it may get infected due to bacterial infection. Apart from this stomach problems and irregular bowl clearance may also result in the appearance of the pimples.

One of the best ways to treat pimples is to change your food habit and avoid fried and junky food. Never ever apply any oil based cream in the affected regions of the face and always it is better to go for herbal cure than the chemical ones. A pack of neem leaves, turmeric, should be applied to the affected portion and if that does not help choose an anti pimple cream with active ingredient like sulphur chromide. Eat healthy and stay beautiful.

4 Steps to Skin Care

To enjoy a great looking skin, it is imperative that you maintain your skin in good health, for which you will need to adopt certain skin care techniques like toning, cleansing, exfoliating, and moisturizing. Also taking good care of your skin will help you in preventing aging and other skin related problems.

Going by the protocol, it is cleansing that comes in first which entails removal of dirt and dead skin cells. This is the most important and the most basic thing that goes into proper skin care. If you do not carry out proper cleansing of the skin, the dirt build-up is bound to make your skin look dull. Also the collection of dirt and bacteria on the skin can lead to several types of skin infections like acne.

Next in line is the process of toning the skin, which works wonders towards giving you a healthy and glowing skin. The toner not only helps in deep cleaning of the pores of the skin, but more importantly it works towards restoring the natural pH balance of the skin. With the restoration of the natural pH balance the skin pores tighten up and this tightening of the pores works a long way towards preventing dirt and infection from getting into the pores. The tightening up of the pores also gives a smoother appearance to the skin.

To get that supple looking skin, hydrating the skin is very important and equally important is to take measures to prevent loss of moisture. Moisturizing lotions replenish the skin with moisture while at the same time acting as a protective barrier to prevent the moisture from escaping. People with dry skin should give additional attention to moisturizing as dry skin is a result of lack of natural skin oils called sebum.

Finally, there's a process called exfoliating which must be used from time to time to remove the outer layer of the skin which contains dead skin cells as also the grime and dirt, that doesn't go off with the normal cleansing procedure. The removal of this top layer of skin gives a fresh and glowing look to the skin.

If you can carry out all these four tasks on a regular basis, you are sure to enjoy a healthy and glowing skin.
